New Delhi: Congress has announced another list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Congress has announced 10 candidates from three states in this list. Congress has given ticket to Kanhaiya Kumar from North East Delhi. Kanhaiya Kumar will challenge Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Manoj Tiwari. The party has announced candidates for three seats in Delhi, six in Punjab and one in Uttar Pradesh.
Whereas ticket has been given to JP Aggarwal from Chandni Chowk seat of Delhi and Udit Raj from North West Delhi. Congress has given tickets to Dharamveer Gandhi from Patiala, Sukhpal Singh Kheda from Sangrur, Gurjit Aujla from Amritsar, former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi from Jalandhar and Ujjwal Revati Raman Singh from Allahabad.

37 year old Kanhaiya Kumar is a resident of Begusarai, Bihar. This time he will contest the Lok Sabha elections for the second time. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he contested against Union Minister Giriraj Singh from Begusarai Lok Sabha seat on Communist Party of India (CPI) ticket. He lost that election by more than 4 lakh votes. Former JNU president Kanhaiya Kumar joined Congress in 2021 and was inducted into the Congress Working Committee in 2023.
Manoj Tiwari is a two-time MP from North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat. In the last election, he had defeated former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Congress candidate JP Aggarwal will contest from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat against BJP candidate Praveen Khandelwal. Jai Prakash Aggarwal won from this seat in 1984, 1989 and 1996. Udit Raj will contest against BJP leader Yogendra Chandolia from North-West Delhi.
