So far, Namit, Nitesh Tiwari and superstar Yash have been selected as producers for 'Ramayana'.
Yash is also associated with this film as an actor. He will play the role of Ravana in it. The shooting of this film is currently going on in Film City where the set of Gurukul has been prepared. Here the child actors playing the childhood roles of Ram, Lakshman and Bharat are shooting for the first schedule of the film. Recently some pictures from the sets of the film went viral. In these pictures, Arun Govil was seen in the role of King Dasharatha. Lara Dutta was seen in the role of Kaikeyi. According to the information received, the makers can announce this film on the special occasion of Ram Navami on 17th April. Many Oscar winning actors are working in this film. Where Hans Zimmer and A.R. Oscar-winning actors like Rahman are working on their music and background scores. Its VFX work will be handled by Oscar-winning company DNEG. Filmmaker Namit is also the Global CEO of DNEG.
