In a major blow to the Congress party before the Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan, around 1300 workers have left the party in Nagaur district. This departure is another blow to the Congress in the state, as the trend of leaders leaving the party is not stopping. There was a mass exodus on Friday, further weakening the party's position in the area.
According to reports, many Congress workers have left the party after the expulsion of some leaders from the party. Expelled leader and Kuchera Municipality Chairman of Nagaur district, Tejpal Mirdha expressed his sentiments on this matter. He said that despite his loyalty to the Congress, he was expelled from the party, making him consider voting NOTA (None of the Above) in the upcoming elections, which would be a significant blow to the Congress.
Mirdha also stressed that even if the expelled leaders are reinstated in the Congress party, they will not cooperate with the alliance, especially with Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief Hanuman Beniwal. Hanuman Beniwal is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Nagaur and Congress has extended its support to his party in this constituency.
This step of Congress leaders has increased the concerns of Hanuman Beniwal and his party. Congress's support in Nagaur could have a significant impact on the election results of the area.
