New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody is about to end, if he comes out of jail then CBI is ready to take action against him. CBI has said that there is enough evidence to take action against Kejriwal. Apart from this, the name of former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also taken.
The agency CBI, which reached the court regarding the remand of BRS leader Kavita, arrested in the Delhi Excise Policy scam, also mentioned the names of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.
CBI said that there is enough evidence to take action against Kejriwal. It also includes WhatsApp chats and statements of other accused.
The CBI's argument for Kavita's custody was that Kavita had a major role in arranging a bribe of Rs 100 crore for the Aam Aadmi Party. Kavita is one of the main conspirators.
A big businessman held a meeting against Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal. Kejriwal assured to help this businessman through excise policy. CBI claimed that Kavita had held a meeting with the businessman in Hyderabad. During this time, CBI had also taken the name of Kejriwal. Therefore, after the completion of judicial custody in the ED case, CBI is preparing to take Kejriwal into custody.
