Raw Mango Launji is a spicy and sweet and sour vegetable, whose taste will make your mouth water. It is also very easy to make and can be stored properly for many days. Here is this simple method:
Raw Mango Launji Recipe:
Material:
3-4 medium sized raw mangoes
2-3 spoons mustard oil
2 teaspoons sweet fennel
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
salt as per taste
Sugar or jaggery (as per taste)
Instruction:
First of all, wash the raw mango, peel it and cut it into long pieces like potatoes.
– Heat 2-3 spoons of mustard oil in a pan. When the oil cools down a bit, add 2 spoons of sweet fennel in it.
When the oil is slightly hot, add a little turmeric, red chili powder and coriander powder to it.
– Now add chopped raw mango pieces into it and add about 2 big bowls of water. If you want, you can also add raw mango seeds to it.
When the vegetable boils, add salt to it and cook until the mango becomes soft.
When the mango becomes soft, add sugar or some jaggery to it as per taste.
Mash the vegetables lightly so that the water and pulp get mixed slightly.
Raw mango launji is ready, eat it with roti, parantha or rice.
