Paneer is a dish which is often prepared on special occasions. Children and adults alike are crazy about it. Whenever someone eats out, he definitely orders a dish of paneer. Material:
Paneer – 250 grams
Butter – 1 cup
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Cream – 1/2 cup
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Green cardamom – 3
Black cardamom – 1
Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoons
Tomato ketchup – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 2 teaspoons
Grated cheese – 2 teaspoons
Salt – as per taste
Water – as per requirement
Method:
– First of all heat butter in a pan. When the butter melts, add cinnamon, green cardamom and black cardamom to it.
– After frying for a few seconds, add tomato puree to it.
– Now fry this mixture well in the pan. Keep the gas flame medium.
– Now add salt, red chilli powder, sugar and tomato ketchup to the tomato puree.
– Then take paneer, cut it into medium sized pieces and mix it in the puree. Mix it well.
– Now add 1/2 cup water into it. Cover the mixture with a lid and let it cook.
– After cooking for a few minutes, add Kasuri Methi and mix well.
– Then add cream to Paneer Makhani and mix well. When it boils well, garnish it with grated cheese.
