Amit Shah's grand road show in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, crowd of supporters gathered – News India Live

Chennai, 12 April (HS). Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a road show in Madurai, Tamil Nadu on Friday, in which thousands of BJP supporters gathered. During this, supporters raised slogans in Tamil language amidst drums and drums and Amit Shah accepted their greetings with a lotus flower in his hand. During the road, supporters showered flowers on him from many places.

Posting a video of his road show on social media platform X, Shah said, “There was tremendous support for Modi-3 in the Madurai road show.”

The road show was organized in a special style in the city in support of BJP candidate from Madurai Lok Sabha seat, Rama Srinivasan and other NDA candidates.

Amit Shah arrived here today on a two-day visit by a special plane. He was given a warm welcome at the airport. From here they reached Lord Dhanduayudhapani Temple Junction in Netaji Salai. Where he launched a grand road show to seek votes for BJP candidate Ram Srinivasan. The nearly 2 kilometer long road show ended at Vilakkuthoon Junction. Along with workers of the alliance parties, women and BJP workers, along with party workers, stood on both sides of the roads with party flags and pictures of BJP's symbol 'Lotus' and enthusiastically welcomed Amit Shah throughout the route of the road show.

Amit Shah, who was on his first visit to the southern state after announcing the election schedule last month, held a road show from Periyar Bus Stand to Vilakkuthoon Junction in the city. The party has fielded Rama Srinivasan in the Madurai election battle to take on CPI(M) MP Su Venkatesan from here. Shah greeted the workers in his specially designed vehicle and kept hoisting the party's lotus symbol near the famous Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, about 2.5 km away. Hundreds of workers stood in queues on both sides of the road from Periyar Bus Stand to Vilakkuthoon Junction and raised slogans.
