Chhatarpur, 12 April (HS). Indian Administrative Service officer Seeram Sambasiva Rao, the election observer appointed by the Election Commission of India, held a meeting of Assistant Returning Officers and officers in-charge of various cells at Badamalhara Assembly Headquarters of Damoh Parliamentary Constituency on Friday. During this, the Observer discussed home voting, voting by postal ballot of personnel engaged in election duty, seizure action being taken by SST-FST, sweep activity, voter sleep and action plan for guide distribution etc.
He said that collective efforts of the entire team are necessary for fair and transparent elections. Election related responsibilities should be discharged with full seriousness, so that like the Assembly elections, the Lok Sabha elections in the area are also conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner. The election observer expressed satisfaction while taking information about the election preparations. Also extended best wishes to all the officials for a fair and transparent election process.
During this, officials of various departments including Liaisoning Officer Prakash Kumar Gautam, ADM Milind Nagdeve, Badamalhara SDM Prashant Aggarwal, SDOP Rahit Alava, Ghuwara Tehsildar Janmejay Mishra, CMO Umashankar Mishra, CEO Suresh Kumar Mishra were present.
