Jammu and Kashmir will soon get full statehood: PM Modi made two big announcements

There are now seven days left for the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and political parties are campaigning vigorously. Meanwhile, today Prime Minister Modi addressed a rally in Jammu and Kashmir and made two big announcements. During his address, Prime Minister Modi said that Jammu and Kashmir will get the status of a full state and assembly elections will be held here soon. This announcement of the Prime Minister is also very important because all the political parties including National Conference and PDP are demanding elections in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370.

India alliance does not care about the majority of the people of the country: PM Modi

Further in his address, Prime Minister Modi said that 'Congress and Bharat Alliance do not care about the majority of the people of the country. Referring to non-veg food, the Prime Minister said, 'Who are they (the opposition) trying to please by showing videos of non-veg food during Navratri and hurting people's sentiments? Today when I speak, these people will abuse me. But when things become unbearable, it is my responsibility in a democracy to tell the country the right side of everything. These people deliberately do this to attack the beliefs of this country. This happens because a large section of people feel uncomfortable watching their videos. The problem with this style is that it is beyond appeasement, it is their Mughal thinking.

Our government completed the Kandi Dam project: Prime Minister

Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi said that '10 years ago in this area I had said that you should trust me. I will resolve decades old issues. I promised to protect the honor and dignity of women. People will get free ration for the next 5 years, people of Jammu and Kashmir are getting Ayushman medical insurance cover. Roads have been constructed in the interior areas. Mobile connectivity has been extended to remote areas. Modi's guarantee is a guarantee of fulfillment. Apart from this, while referring to Shahpur Kandi Dam, the Prime Minister said that our government has completed the Shahpur Kandi Dam project which was stalled for decades. The water of Ravi which used to flow towards Pakistan will now be stopped.

Elections will be held in five phases in Jammu and Kashmir

Elections will be held in five phases for the five Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Kashmir. Voting will be held in the state on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13 and May 20 and the results will be declared on June 4. Voting will be held on Udhampur seat of Jammu and Kashmir on April 19. Whereas voting on Jammu seat will be held on 26th April. Voting for Anantnag and Rajouri seats is to be held on May 7. Whereas voting on Srinagar seat will be held on May 13. Voting for Baramulla seat is finally scheduled on May 20. Voting for the only Lok Sabha seat of Ladakh will also be held on May 20.
