Preparations are at their peak for the holy festival of Diwali and the annual grand festival of lights in Ayodhya city, the holy birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. The entire Dharmanagari is being decorated with colorful lights, fresh flowers and supernatural fringes. Meanwhile, a big and heart-touching statement of Iqbal Ansari, the former main party to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, has come to light. Iqbal Ansari, who was elated after seeing this historic change taking place in Ayodhya and the unprecedented preparations for the Deepotsav, has openly praised the work of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that the grand and supernatural form in which Ayodhya is seen today is the contribution of Chief Minister Yogi ji. It is the result of his foresight and determination that today the entire city of Ayodhya is dressed up like a beautiful newlywed bride and an atmosphere of happiness and celebration is visible all around.
While talking about the historical Ganga-Jamuni culture and mutual harmony of Ayodhya, Iqbal Ansari said that the festival of Deepotsav and Diwali celebrated in Ayodhya is not limited to any one particular community or religion, rather it is a common festival of the entire city of Ayodhya and every citizen living here. He said that when lakhs of earthen lamps are lit simultaneously on the ghats of river Saryu, its supernatural light not only dispels darkness but also erases the distances in the hearts. Ansari said that the people of the Muslim community of Ayodhya also welcome this grand event and the foreign and tourists coming from all over the country with open hearts. The way Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given international recognition to Ayodhya and developed it as a world-class tourism centre, new doors of employment, business and prosperity have opened at the local level, the benefits of which are being availed by all sections of the society without any discrimination.
Extensive administrative and cultural preparations have been made to create a new Guinness World Record in this grand festival of lights being organized by the Uttar Pradesh government. This time, a record number of lakhs of earthen lamps have been spread at Ram Ki Paidi and all the more than 55 ghats of Saryu river, which will be lit simultaneously with the help of volunteers, saints and common citizens. Apart from this, Ram Mandir complex, Saryu bridge, major intersections and all the ancient monasteries and temples of Ayodhya have been decorated with laser light shows, 3D mapping and grand archways. Local residents say that a prominent Muslim face like Iqbal Ansari praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and showing great joy in Diwali celebrations is a clear message that Ayodhya is now free from disputes and is writing a new and great saga of development, peace, faith and communal harmony.
