New Delhi: BRS leader arrested in money laundering case related to Delhi liquor scam. The difficulties of poetry are increasing. CBI has today sought five days' custody of Kavita from the local court, on which the court will give order at 2 pm.
The court reserved its decision
Former Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter K. Kavita is lodged in Tihar jail after being arrested by Naidi. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja reserved her decision on the application after hearing the arguments of CBI and Kavita's lawyer.
These are the arguments of CBI and K Kavita
– CBI told the court that Kavita is not cooperating in the investigation and is delaying in replying.
– CBI further alleged that BRS leader K. Kavita was hiding facts which were only within her knowledge.
– Accused's lawyer Nitish Rana opposed the CBI petition, calling the arrest illegal. He also accused the investigating agency of violating Kavita's fundamental rights.
– CBI officers recently took permission from the special court and interrogated Kavita inside the jail.
– ED had arrested Kavita on March 15 from her residence in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
CBI made many revelations
CBI said that a liquor businessman of South Group had met Arvind Kejriwal and sought his support to do business in Delhi. The CBI said Kejriwal assured them of support and the agency has enough evidence in this regard, including WhatsApp chats and statements of the accused.
CBI says that Dinesh Arora (accused who has now become a government witness) has confirmed in his statement that Abhishek Boinpalli had given Rs 100 crore to Vijay Nair. The statement of payment of Rs 11.9 crore by hawala operators under sections 161 and 164 of CrPC has also been confirmed. CBI said that K. Poetry is also related to all this.
