Once King Daksh organized a very big and grand yajna, in which all the gods, goddesses and sages were invited, but he deliberately did not invite his son-in-law Lord Shiva and daughter Sati. When Mother Sati came to know about this, she went to her father’s house without calling. Even after Lord Shiva’s explanation, she could not stop herself.
