A total of 13 senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been specially deployed to maintain peace, order and smooth traffic management in the state, who will personally monitor the security arrangements during the entire five-day event.
According to official information, the Shraddha rituals and various traditional rituals of Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s mother will be held for five consecutive days starting from October 15 to October 19. During this period, there is every possibility of many prominent political faces of the country, national leaders of various parties, social workers and administrative stalwarts arriving at the ancestral residence of the Chief Minister and the sites of related programs. Since there will be huge crowd and VIP movement in this high-level event, the local administration seems to be extremely cautious to avoid any kind of security lapse or negligence in the system. Under the order issued by the Police Headquarters, all these 13 IPS officers have been entrusted with the responsibility of different zones, parking arrangements, accommodation security, route lining and stage operation sites, so that the program can be conducted with complete dignity and peace.
The 13 senior IPS officers who have been entrusted with the responsibility of this condolence program by the Jharkhand Police Administration will strengthen the security system based on their respective experience. These include many IG, DIG and SP level officers who have been given strict instructions to keep the intelligence network active around the venue, take stock of the deployment of police force and maintain smooth traffic. The promptness shown by the administrative staff in this sad and personal ritual of the Chief Minister’s family ensures that the guests do not face any inconvenience. Along with the forces of local police stations, contingents of State Reserve Police Force (JAP) and Rapid Action Force (RAF) are also being deployed at sensitive points, so that the law and order situation remains completely under control during the event.
During these five days of Shraddha rituals, a huge gathering of Jharkhand’s political history can be seen as leaders and well-wishers from different states of the country will arrive to pay their tribute to late Rupi Soren.
