Shri Maurya said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government has implemented many public welfare schemes to bring positive changes in the lives of the poor, farmers, women, youth and deprived sections. Initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Jan-Dhan Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission have played an important role in providing housing, health care, clean fuel, financial assistance and basic amenities to the eligible beneficiaries.
He said that while effectively implementing the schemes of the Centre, the Uttar Pradesh government is paying special attention to rural development, Pradhan Mantri and Chief Minister Awas Yojana-Rural, empowerment of self-help groups, employment generation and expansion of basic facilities. The objective of the double engine government is that the benefits of development should reach the last person in the society and no eligible family should be deprived of government assistance.
