Lucknow, 09 October. Yogi government has taken an important initiative towards the welfare of the state employees and strengthening the social and economic security of their families. An MOU has been signed between the Secretariat Administration Department, Uttar Pradesh Government and Axis Bank. Under this, many additional protective and welfare facilities along with a specially designed salary account will be provided to the state government employees of the state.
Personal accident insurance cover of Rs 1 crore
Under the MoU, personal accident insurance cover of up to Rs 1 crore will be available to eligible state employees. This will provide financial security to the employee and his family in emergency situations. Additionally, additional health insurance cover of up to Rs 30 lakh will also be provided to the employees. For this, a nominal premium of only Rs 7 per day has been arranged. This will provide additional financial protection to employees and their families in case of serious illness or unexpected health expenses.
Assistance up to Rs 8 lakh for children’s education
Under the system, a provision of additional assistance of up to Rs 8 lakh has also been made for the education of dependent children. Along with this, employees will also get term life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh. Under the MOU, a special salary account will be provided to the employees. It will also provide additional benefits related to security and welfare along with various banking facilities.
