The work of widening and strengthening of Kargara to Alus link road from chain number 3.524 kilometer to 13.027 kilometer is proposed. Keeping in mind the safe movement of wildlife and environmental standards, it is necessary to prepare an animal passage plan for this route.
An amount of Rs 18.17 lakh has been approved by the Rural Development Department on the basis of the estimates provided by the Department of Wild Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. This approval will speed up the process of preparing the Animal Passage Plan and during the road construction work, necessary arrangements related to wildlife conservation can be ensured on scientific and technical basis. Shri Maurya said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, the state government is giving priority to balancing environmental protection with strong road network in rural areas. Through Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the work of connecting villages with better connectivity routes and widening and strengthening of existing routes is being done continuously.
