Lucknow, 8 October. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan was a public leader with a combative attitude. With his attitude he gave a new dimension to social consciousness. 50 years ago, such a young leader emerged in Bihar, who at that time became a strong voice for the Dalits and the deprived. The people of Bihar gave great respect to that voice and sent Ram Vilas ji to Parliament after winning with the maximum number of votes. He dedicated his life to awakening social consciousness through Indian politics and building the India of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s dream.

While thanking the Bihar government, the CM said that his death anniversary is being organized there as a national function. Referring to the determination of Ram Vilas Paswan, CM said that he lived his life according to what he said. The CM thanked Union Minister Chirag Paswan for organizing this event in Uttar Pradesh and assured that the same honor which Ram Vilas Paswan has got in Bihar, will be given to him in Uttar Pradesh also.
