On Thursday, in connection with the murder of street vendor Mohan Lal Sindhi in Karni Vihar police station area, people of Sindhi community surrounded the Karni Vihar police station and demonstrated. After the demonstration, a memorandum was given to the government regarding various demands to the police.
In the memorandum, a compensation of Rs 1 crore has been demanded to the family of Mohan Lal Sindhi, job to a member of the family and action should be taken against the involvement of the killers of Kshitij's family in the murder. A large number of people from Sindhi community were present in the demonstration. Police and administration officials reached the spot and pacified the protesters.
