MP TET 2026: Last date of application extended again, now you will get the chance to fill the form till October 11; Make corrections by October 12

Big and relief news has come out for the teachers working in primary and secondary schools of Madhya Pradesh and the candidates who want to appear in the Teacher Eligibility Test. Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has taken the official decision to extend the last date to apply online for Primary and Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (MSPSTET 2026). As per the earlier schedule, the deadline for submission of application forms was fixed as October 5. However, due to a large number of eligible teachers and candidates not being able to fill the form due to technical difficulties and other reasons, the Board has decided to extend the registration window. Now all eligible candidates can complete their online application through the official portal till 11th October.

According to the updated guidelines issued by the Staff Selection Board, candidates have been given additional days to complete the application process. The important dates related to the application and its correction are as follows:

  • Revised Last Date of Online Application: 11 October

  • Last date for correction/amendment in the application form: 12 October

  • official website: esb.mp.gov.in or esb.mponline.gov.in The board has clarified that the application window will be completely closed on October 11 at 11:59 pm. After this, the date will not be extended under any circumstances, hence candidates should complete their process in time without waiting for last minute server load or technical glitches.

This special eligibility test in Madhya Pradesh is of utmost importance for serving teachers at primary and secondary level who fall within the scope of achieving the eligibility standards under the Right to Education (RTE) Act and court guidelines. Around 1.5 lakh in-service teachers across the state are connected to this system. However, some confusion has also been seen between teacher organizations and candidates regarding examination fees, classification of posts and service conditions, due to which the pace of applications remained slow in the initial phase. It is the endeavor of the Board and the School Education Department to provide adequate opportunity for registration to all the eligible teachers by extending the date so that there is no administrative hindrance in their service continuity.
