Fear of child lifting gangs increased in Jharkhand: Big revelation of Teenpahar gang

At present, a very sensitive, sensational and worrying big news is coming out from various districts of Jharkhand, which has shocked the common citizens, parents and administrative departments. The rumors and incidents that were coming to light for some time regarding the disappearance of small children and the activity of child lifter gangs in the rural and urban areas of the state have now been confirmed as shocking after the police investigation. Jharkhand’s intelligence and police agencies have revealed during investigation that after the already infamous ‘Gulgulia Gang’ became active in the state, now the network of a new and extremely dangerous gang ‘Tinapahar Gang’ is spreading rapidly. The most dangerous and scary thing that has come to light in this whole matter is that the links of these child abductor gangs are connected at the international level to the neighboring country Bangladesh (Bangladesh Connection), due to which serious questions have been raised on the internal security of India and the security arrangements of the border districts. From Uttar Pradesh to Jharkhand, there is talk of how organized criminals are carrying out a nefarious conspiracy of kidnapping innocent children and smuggling them across the border. Seeing the seriousness of this matter, the local police and the special branch of the state have issued a high alert and have started rapid raids on suspicious locations so that this international racket can be completely exposed.

Preliminary investigation conducted by Jharkhand Police and Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has revealed that ‘Teenpahad Gang’ is operating its criminal network in a very vicious manner. This gang mainly targets railway stations, bus stands, fairs, markets and houses in rural areas where children are often seen playing outside. The gang members disguise themselves as beggars, hawkers or suspected sadhus and conduct recce of the villages and as soon as they get an opportunity, they kidnap innocent children. Immediately after the children are stolen, they are shifted through safe routes to the border districts of Jharkhand and from there directly to the international border. In the last few days, when the complaints of missing children lodged in many police stations of Jharkhand were linked together, the name of this organized ‘Teenpahad Gang’ came out prominently. There is an atmosphere of great panic among the local villagers and parents that they are afraid to even send their children out of the house, because criminals are now carrying out such crimes in broad daylight.

The most worrying aspect of this entire matter is that the links of these child lifting gangs of Jharkhand have been found to be directly linked to the neighboring country Bangladesh. During the documents obtained by the intelligence agencies and the interrogation of some of the arrested suspected criminals, the shocking truth has come to light that these innocent stolen children are sold at high prices to Bangladesh or other remote areas through cross-border smuggling. This black business of illegal infiltration and human trafficking is being run by these criminals by breaching the security system in the border areas. After the exposure of this internationally active racket, now the Central Security Agencies along with Jharkhand Police have started getting to the bottom of this entire matter. The police force has also been alerted on the borders between Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand so that no suspicious vehicle or person can escape easily after carrying out such illegal activities.

This is not the first case of terror by child lifters in Jharkhand, because earlier it has been reported that many similar incidents were carried out by the ‘Gulgulia Gang’. People had not yet recovered from the fear of the Gulgulia Gang, when the even more dangerous and vicious ‘Teenpahad Gang’ emerged, the anger of the general public has erupted against the police and administration. In rural areas, people are staying awake all night and guarding their localities and settlements themselves, and at many places, incidents of suspicious looking outsiders being caught and handed over to the police are also being reported. Social workers and local leaders have demanded from the government that to stop such organized crimes, a Special Task Force (STF) should be immediately formed, which can eliminate these gangs on a war footing.

In short, this growing threat of child abductor gangs in Jharkhand and their Bangladeshi connection has become not just an ordinary crime but a very serious issue related to national security. Parents and schools also have to ensure that they do not show any carelessness regarding the safety of children and do not let them go anywhere alone. Only with the promptness of the police administration and the cooperation of the public can the back of this dangerous network be broken and the safe life of innocent children can be ensured.
