Railway NTPC Recruitment: Post wise vacancy details

A total of 5,165 posts of ‘Non-Technical Popular Category’ (NTPC) will be filled through this recruitment process. These include 3,477 posts of graduate level like station master, goods train manager and senior clerk. Additionally, there will be recruitment for 1,688 posts for 12th passed candidates, which include posts like Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Train Clerk, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist and Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist.

Railway NTPC: Qualification and Age Limit

To apply for 12th level posts of RRB, it is mandatory for the candidates to have passed 12th class with at least 50% marks from a recognized institute. However, for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories, merely qualifying the examination is sufficient. Additionally, a computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi is required for Typist posts. Talking about age limit, the age of the candidates should be between 18 to 30 years.
