Best wishes to the country and people of the state on Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti, Keshav Prasad Maurya

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya Additional Chief Secretary Food Processing BL Meena and Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Shri Saurabh Babu was directed to organize special cleanliness programs under the Seva Sankalp and Cleanliness Campaign across the state on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Maximum participation of villagers should be ensured by conducting activities related to cleanliness and public awareness extensively in Gram Panchayats. Necessary works should be identified by discussing development action plans of Gram Panchayats and priorities of development works as per local needs in Gram Sabhas.

Keshav Prasad Maurya has extended hearty greetings to the country and the people of the state on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri on October 2. He said that Mahatma Gandhi ji showed the path of nation building through truth, non-violence, cleanliness, service and village swaraj, while Lal Bahadur Shastri ji established high ideals of simplicity, honesty, devotion to duty and service to the nation.
