On the occasion of the holy birth anniversary of the great revolutionary and immortal son of Mother India, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a special message to the youth of the state and the country. CM Yogi has written a very emotional and inspiring ‘Paati’ (letter) to the youth and called upon them to take active participation in nation building. The Chief Minister made it clear in his message that today’s youth is not only the creator of the present but is also the strongest pillar of the future. Reminding the life philosophy of the immortal martyr Bhagat Singh, he said that at a young age when youth often become directionless, Bhagat Singh had shaken the foundation of British rule with his deep study, ideological clarity and indomitable courage.
In his address, the Chief Minister laid special emphasis on the fact that Bhagat Singh was not just a gun-carrying revolutionary, but he was a profound thinker, serious reader and visionary writer. Even within the walls of jail, he never left his books. Even a few minutes before he was hanged, he was reading Lenin’s biography. CM said that in today’s modern era when the world is changing rapidly, our youth most need to adopt this studious aspect of Bhagat Singh.
While communicating with the youth, CM Yogi Adityanath said that progress of any society and nation is possible only when the urge to learn and new curiosities remain alive within its young generation. The Chief Minister stressed that in today’s digital and technological era, the youth will have to move beyond superficial information towards deep knowledge. Instead of getting lost in the scrolling culture of social media, we have to develop the habit of thinking and meditation. He told the youth, “Never let your inner questioning nature and curiosity die, because as long as curiosity is alive, the path to innovation and progress is open.”
The Chief Minister said that a good book can sow the seed of a new and revolutionary idea in the life of any youth. Only a new idea has the power to give a positive direction to the entire society and break the stereotypes. Inspiring the youth, he said that knowledge is the infallible power on the basis of which India can be made self-reliant and developed. If the youth link their knowledge with the welfare of the society and upliftment of the nation, then no global challenge will be able to stop India’s progress.
At the end of his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pledged to the youth of the state to participate in building a prosperous and strong Uttar Pradesh. He said that the state government is working with full dedication to provide bright future, quality education, skill development and transparent employment opportunities to the youth. The aim of the government is to make Uttar Pradesh knowledgeable, cultured and capable, in which the energy of the youth will become the biggest engine.
CM Yogi said that Bhagat Singh’s sacrifice, his dedication and his unique love for Mother India will continue to make every generation aware of their responsibility for centuries. He appealed to the youth not to limit the sacrifice of martyrs to mere slogans and symbols, but to contribute their best in their respective fields to realize the India of their dreams.
