Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the farmers, entrepreneurs and businessmen of Uttar Pradesh are getting the benefits of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary foreign policy and India’s strengthening economic identity at the global level. India’s growing trade relations with many countries of the world have opened new doors to the global market for the local products of the state. Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2026 is presenting the picture of this changing India and changing Uttar Pradesh. About 50 stalls of entrepreneurs benefited under the Prime Minister Micro Food Processing Enterprises Upgradation Scheme (PMFME) and Uttar Pradesh Food Processing Industry Policy-2023 (UPFPP-2023) have been set up in the Uttar Pradesh Pavilion.
Additional Chief Secretary of Food and Processing Department BL Meena said that the trade agreements made by the department with various countries are as follows –
1 Kisan Multipurpose Producer Company Limited, Meerut signed a trade agreement with AVETERA of Estonia regarding jaggery/sugar products with Japan regarding bakery and jaggery products.
2. Bhagwati Jaggery Industries, Bijnor signed a business agreement worth about US$ 1,000 with India Shop of Taiwan.
3. Juncture LLP, Lucknow signed a business agreement worth approximately US$ 5,000 with Hariom Food Pvt Ltd of Australia.
4 Details of business agreement signed by Basic Ayurveda Limited, Ghaziabad with KPM Group of Europe worth approximately US$ 1,000.
5. Vietnam’s A. by Anubhi Enterprises, Meerut. Business agreement with Tuan Khanh Joint Stock Company.
6. Business agreement signed by Amrit Agro Food Products, Gorakhpur with a Cuban based trading entity based in Santa Clara, Cuba.
