CM said that in 1982 when Ashok ji got the responsibility of VHP. Ram Janmabhoomi Mukta Yagya Samiti was formed in 1983, then he had only one resolution in his life that he would not take rest until the work of Ram was done. He made ‘Charaiveti-Charaiveti’ the mantra of life without stopping, bowing, wavering and succeeded in bringing the saints on one platform. He united the scattered society in the Ram Mandir movement and set up a series of single schools in forest areas and slums. He started the arrangement of teaching children from the North-East by bringing them to a room in the office of Vishwa Hindu Parishad in the Gorakhnath temple itself.

CM said that on November 2, 1990, the then anti-Ram government lathicharged and opened fire on the devotees singing Ramdhun, then Ashok Singhal ji stood with his chest held high. His heart was filled with joy due to the sound of saffron pots and the roar of the youth. It is a matter of satisfaction that under the guidance of Ashok ji, we participated enthusiastically in the Ram Mandir movement. His dream is now visible in the form of a grand Ram temple.

When the government was formed in 2017, the then Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh made Ram ki Pauri like Har ki Pauri in Haridwar. Now more than 5 lakh devotees can take bath in Ram ki Paidi simultaneously.
Ayodhya became solar city
The Chief Minister said that in Ayodhya, where there were narrow and broken streets, now Rampath, Dharampath, Bhakti Path and Janmabhoomi Path are connected with four lanes. CM said that Ashok ji was as intense Sanatani in white clothes as he was with a soft heart at heart. Discussing cow protection, CM said that earlier cows were slaughtered in illegal slaughterhouses in UP. These slaughterhouses were closed in 2017. The most stringent law was made in Uttar Pradesh and more than 7700 cow sheds were constructed. We are conserving 16 lakh cows here. They give Rs 1500 every month for the protection of every cow.
