
Lucknow, 23 September. Yogi government is now going to further strengthen its efforts to establish Uttar Pradesh as a major investment and industrial center of the country on the global stage. The state’s ‘business-ready’ ecosystem, investment-friendly policies and improvements in ease of doing business will be presented to the world in the fourth Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS)-2026, to be held from September 25 to 29 at India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida.
In the five-day event, Invest UP is setting up two dedicated pavilions in Hall-1 and Hall-4. These pavilions will be the main center for investors, entrepreneurs and business representatives coming from India and abroad to understand and have direct contact with the investment and business opportunities in the state. Here information about more than 36 sector-specific policies, policy incentives and integrated investment facilitation system of Uttar Pradesh will be made available.
UP market will open for global investors
UPITS-2026 will include Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Russia, Austria and Belarus as partner countries. Companies from these countries will showcase their products, technologies and business opportunities. While around 100 international buyers will explore sourcing and purchasing opportunities for Uttar Pradesh products, 36 foreign exhibitors will showcase their products and industrial technologies. Foreign delegations are also proposed to hold talks with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
B2B meetings, country sessions, executive roundtable and sectoral roundtable will be organized during the event to disseminate the investment-friendly environment created by the Yogi government in the state to the investors. Through these, investors will be directly connected to the possibilities of business expansion, technical partnership, technology transfer and new investment in the state.
Brainstorming on investment and industrial opportunities in Sectoral Roundtable
Following the inaugural session, Invest UP will coordinate roundtables and knowledge sessions focused on various sectors. Prominent among these are ‘Reimagining Global Supply Chains: Why Uttar Pradesh Matters Now’, Electronics, Semiconductor and ESDM Investors Roundtable and Pharma and Medtech Strategic Session. Apart from this, topics like textile and apparel, food processing and investment and industrial development through CPSUs will also be discussed. In these sessions, policy-makers, investors, industry representatives and experts will deliberate on policies, emerging opportunities and development prospects of the respective sectors.
‘Local to Global’ vision will get new momentum
UPITS-2026 will become an important platform to connect sectors like ODOP products, MSME, handicrafts, textiles, agriculture and food processing of Uttar Pradesh with global markets. The participation of international buyers and foreign exhibitors will increase the possibilities of new business contacts and markets available to the entrepreneurs of the state. In line with the ‘Local to Global’ vision of the Yogi government, this event will strengthen the efforts of taking the local products of the state to the international market, accelerating export expansion, increasing technical partnerships and attracting new investments. Through UPITS-2026, Uttar Pradesh will effectively present its strong industrial base, investment-friendly policies and business facilities to the global investment community.
