Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya paid a courtesy call on Honorable Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav at Rail Bhawan office today. During this, Shri Maurya presented important public interest issues related to Uttar Pradesh, especially Kaushambi and Prayagraj districts, before the Railway Minister. The first topic is level crossing number-19 on Prayagraj-Kanpur railway section under North Central Railway in Kaushambi district, R.U.B in Sirathu. Made aware of the need for construction of (Running Under Bridge). He told that R.U.B. The construction of this will provide ease of transportation to the local citizens and will also help in simplifying the traffic system. Secondly, the issue of stopping of important trains going towards Mumbai and New Delhi at Phulpur railway station in Prayagraj district was also placed before the Railway Minister.

Taking a positive stance on both the issues of public interest, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav assured Shri Maurya that the necessary action would be completed soon. In the meeting, organizational preparations in view of the upcoming elections and spreading information about government’s public welfare schemes and development works to the people through workers were also discussed. Various important topics related to the development of Uttar Pradesh, effective implementation of public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government and organizational issues were discussed in detail.

He said that the resolution of the double engine government is to take development and public welfare schemes to every home while giving top priority to public interest and public service. Issues related to the organization and preparations for the upcoming elections were also discussed in the meeting. He said that the party workers should play an effective role in spreading information about the public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government to the people and providing their benefits to the eligible people, so that the benefits of development and good governance can reach the people at the last rung of the society.
