
Varanasi, 16 September. ‘Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra’ will be taken out from Varanasi to Vadnagar today on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday and completion of 25 years of his public life. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off the yatra from Rudraksh Convention Centre. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Chirag Paswan, State President Pankaj Chaudhary and many other distinguished people will be present in the program. Before starting the journey, the service passengers will reach Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and perform Jalabhishek of Baba Vishwanath with Ganga water. Defense Minister, Chief Minister and BJP State President will also perform Maharudrabhishek in Vishwanath temple.
Cabinet Minister and Minister in-charge of Varanasi, Suresh Khanna said that on September 17, there will be a program of lighting 200 lamps at each booth simultaneously in the entire state. MP and national coordinator of the program V.D. Sharma said that the main objective of this yatra is to connect the youth with service work.
BJP Kashi region president Ashok Chaurasia said that on September 17, 51 Seva Yatris (bikers) will reach Lalita Ghat at 10 am. After filling the Ganga water here, they will reach Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple amidst the sound of Damru Dal and Shankhan. State Minister of State with Independent Charge JPS Rathore said that before the start of the bike yatra, Jyotirlinga Kashi Vishwanath located in Kashi will be anointed with the water of holy rivers. After this, the 22-day bike journey from Varanasi to Vadnagar will begin with formal worship. During the religious ritual, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be wished for a healthy life and longevity.
Guests will visit the exhibition based on 25 years of public life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rudraksh Convention Center at 12 noon. After this, the address will be given during the program organized in the auditorium. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off the ‘Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra’ and send it to Vadnagar.
The yatra will reach 10 states, 193 districts and 1,159 villages
Ashok Chaurasia said that this journey from Kashi to Vadnagar and from Vadnagar to Kashi will pass through 50 districts of Uttar Pradesh, 88 night rest places and 187 halts. From Kashi, 500 service passengers will leave for Vadnagar on bikes through 10 different routes. BJYM National President Dr. Hemang Joshi said that youth seva yatris from different parts of the country will participate in the yatra. The message of strengthening the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ will be conveyed through the participation of various regions and states in the Yatra. This yatra, running in both directions, will reach 10 states, 193 districts, 773 tehsils and 1,159 villages. Each stop during the journey will be linked to social concerns and service activities.
