UP Lekhpal Result 2026: Result of main examination released for 7994 posts of Revenue Lekhpal, 28409 candidates shortlisted; Big update on document verification

A very good news has emerged for lakhs of youth who are looking for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has declared the result and category wise official cutoff marks of the main examination conducted for recruitment to 7,994 posts of Revenue Lekhpal. The link for the exam result has been activated on the official website of the Commission, upsssc.gov.in. According to the notice issued by the Commission, a total of 28,409 candidates against 7,994 posts have been shortlisted for the next and very important stage of the selection process i.e. ‘Document Verification / DV’. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their scorecard and eligibility status online using their registration number and date of birth or password.

In this recruitment process conducted to fill the vacant posts of Accountant in Uttar Pradesh Revenue Council, more than 3.66 lakh candidates were considered eligible for the main examination on the basis of normalized score of PET. The main examination was successfully conducted at various centers in the state. After a long wait, the Commission has prepared a merit list on the basis of evaluation of answer sheets and invited the candidates for eligibility check. The Commission has clarified that this result is not the final selection list; Final selection will be declared only after successful record verification and verification of genuine certificates.

The category wise cutoff marks based on vertical and horizontal reservation released by the Commission have been determined as follows:

• Unreserved (General/UR): 58.75 points

• Other Backward Classes (OBC): 55.75 points

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 55.25 points

• Scheduled Caste (SC): 51.25 points

• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 44.00 points

• Female Candidates: 49.25 points

• Ex-Servicemen: 30.50 points

• Freedom Fighter Dependents: 34.25 points

• Disabled Category (PwD): O.L. 47.50 for (OL), OA 43.25 for (OA) and HH. (HH) marks have been fixed at 30.75, while in other specific disability categories all eligible candidates have been shortlisted to the extent of availability.

According to the information received from the sources of the Commission regarding document verification, there is a strong possibility that the document verification of UP Lekhpal recruitment will start from the first fortnight of October. The Commission will soon issue a separate notice for downloading the detailed DV schedule, date wise roll number list and record verification letter (DV Call Letter) on its website upsssc.gov.in. Candidates will have to appear personally at the Lucknow office of the Commission (Pickup Bhawan, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar) to get all their original certificates matched.

Shortlisted candidates are advised to prepare in advance all their educational and reservation related original documents and at least two sets of their self-attested photocopies:

• Educational Certificate: Original mark sheet and certificate of high school (10th) (for date of birth verification) and intermediate (12th) mark sheet and certificate.

• Scorecard and Admit Card: Original Scorecard of UPSSSC PET and Admit Card of Lekhpal Main Exam.

• Reservation and residence certificate: Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh and valid OBC (non-creamy layer), EWS, SC or ST caste certificate issued by the competent authority, issued on or before the last date of application.

• Identity card and photo: Original copy of Aadhar Card, PAN Card or Voter ID Card and 4 to 6 recent passport size color photographs.

• Special Category Documents: Disability Certificate, Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book or Freedom Fighter Dependent Certificate (if applicable).

With the declaration of results, ‘DV Skip’ campaign has also gained momentum on social media and among student organizations. A humble appeal is being made to the candidates who have already been finally selected for teacher recruitment, UP Police SI, Junior Assistant or other higher pay scale posts, not to appear in the records verification of the accountant. Experts believe that if the candidates who have already got the job leave the DV, then those unemployed youth stuck in the lower merit list who have been hoping for a government job for a long time will get an opportunity.

• Click on ‘Results’ or Notice Board section given on the homepage.

• Go to the link ‘Advertisement No. 02-Examination/2025, Revenue Accountant Main Examination Result and Cutoff’.

• Enter your registration number, date of birth, gender and the captcha code shown on the screen.

• As soon as you click on the ‘See Result’ button, your score and eligibility status for document verification will be visible on the screen.

• Make sure to take a printout of your result and keep it safe for future reference.
