In view of the upcoming assembly elections in the politics of Uttar Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party has put in all its strength to further strengthen its political ground. In this series, BJP’s National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh reached Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow on Friday evening on an important two-day visit. A high-level core committee meeting was held in the special presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the state BJP headquarters in Lucknow, in which all the senior leaders of the party participated. In this important meeting, along with taking comprehensive political feedback on the functioning of the government and the organization, an outline of a big ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ has been prepared to prepare for the upcoming elections. The main objective of the party is to directly reach out to every section of the society, youth, women, and beneficiaries of government schemes through this month-long nationwide and provincial campaign so that the Vijay Rath of Mission 2027 can be taken forward at full speed.
In the meeting of this core committee held at the state headquarters in Lucknow, not only the election strategies were discussed, but also the organizational expansion of the party and upcoming political events were discussed in depth. In this meeting led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations for the elections to be held on the 11 vacant seats of the Legislative Council, the strategy for the Rajya Sabha elections, and the early formation of various fronts and cells of the party were discussed in detail. National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh instructed in clear words that there should be excellent coordination between the government and the organization so that the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ can be implemented on the ground very effectively. He stressed that the main objective of this campaign is to extend the benefits of the government’s welfare policies to the last person in the society and to establish direct communication with the public so that every narrative of the opposition can be cut with full force.
Outline and special programs of the one month long Seva Sankalp campaign
According to the strategy decided by BL Santosh, this ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be run in every nook and corner of Uttar Pradesh for a whole month. Under this campaign, the party has set a very ambitious target of including youth, women, elderly and beneficiaries of every government scheme. Under the campaign, a unique program will be organized at every polling booth in the state on September 17, where every beneficiary family will express gratitude to the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi by lighting the ‘Aashirvad ka Diya’ at their home. Along with this, various types of competitions will be organized in schools, colleges and educational institutions across the state, through which the young generation can be connected with the ideology of the party and the developmental policies of the government. Recognizing the pulse of the digital era, workers have also been instructed to promote this campaign very aggressively and effectively on all major platforms of social media, so that every voter can be directly reached through digital mediums.
All the senior leaders present in the meeting underlined their respective responsibilities for the success of this campaign. State General Secretary Organization Dharampal Singh presented the complete outline of the preparations made so far at the organizational level in front of the Core Committee. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya expressed confidence that the party is going to form the government in the state for the third time with an overwhelming majority and all the workers are fully prepared for this. Many senior leaders including UP in-charge Vinod Tawde, co-in-charge Jagdish Bhai Patel, state president Pankaj Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak were present in the meeting, who presented feedback related to their respective departments and areas to the central leadership. Political preparations for Mission 2027 and upcoming visits of veterans
State BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary made it clear in front of the media and core committee that every small and big activity has been reviewed in the meeting keeping in mind the 2027 assembly elections i.e. Mission-2027. There has also been a principled discussion in the Core Committee regarding calling a meeting of the State Working Committee in the coming days, through which the election mantra will be given to all the district and regional officials of the party. Under the party’s internal action plan, strict instructions have been given to complete the formation of all fronts and cells as soon as possible and to leave the workers for their respective scheduled stays. Apart from this, preparations for the biennial elections for 11 Legislative Council seats proposed in the month of November have also been started. The party wants to ensure that its political dominance remains intact on every front from Legislative Council to Assembly.
Under the upcoming political activities, the outline of possible visits and huge programs of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Naveen and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Uttar Pradesh has also been approved. There is a plan to fill a new enthusiasm among the workers through the visits of these big leaders. On Saturday, the second day of his two-day tour, BL Santosh will hold another marathon meeting with all the state general ministers of the party at the state BJP headquarters and will also meet some senior leaders. Immediately after this, he will leave for Kanpur, where he will hold an important meeting with all the regional officials of Kanpur-Bundelkhand region, review the organizational work and leave for Delhi on Sunday. Overall, BJP has made it clear with all its strength before the UP elections that it is in no mood to show any laxity in the electoral field and has made full preparations to rule every heart through ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.
