Lucknow, 11 September. Ballia’s disabled daughter Ragini met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During this, his parents and Ballia BJP MLA Ketki Singh were also present. The Chief Minister talked to Ragini intimately and inquired about her health, studies and family needs and assured her of all possible help. Seven-year-old Divyang Ragini of Ranipur village of Digheda Gram Sabha of Maniyar block is a class one student of primary school.
Ragini had asked for a tricycle to commute to school. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the District Magistrate of Ballia took immediate action and provided him two tricycles. Now, during the meeting with the Chief Minister, assurance was also given regarding Ragini’s treatment, education and accommodation arrangements for the family. The Chief Minister’s sensitivity towards Ragini and this effort of immediate help reflects the humanitarian concerns of the government.
Ragini’s family expressed gratitude to CM Yogi
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Ragini’s mother Babita said that her daughter has a problem in her leg and she has come to meet the Chief Minister regarding this problem. He said that the Chief Minister has promised to bear the entire cost of Ragini’s treatment and make arrangements for her operation. He also thanked Chief Minister Yogi for getting the bad road constructed in the village and providing a tricycle.
Ragini’s father Devendra told that many years ago his daughter’s leg was fractured in a road accident. Along with treatment, the Chief Minister has also assured help in housing and education. He also expressed gratitude to MLA Ketki Singh, due to whose efforts the family could meet the Chief Minister.
Example of sensitivity and prompt action
BJP MLA Ketki Singh said that after Ragini’s video surfaced, the Chief Minister himself took cognizance and directed the District Magistrate and concerned officials to make necessary arrangements immediately. The Chief Minister has said that the government will bear the entire expense of Ragini’s treatment, arrange for the operation, provide accommodation to the family and get the bad road near the house repaired. He also assured all possible help for Ragini to continue her studies.
The MLA said that this shows the sensitive working style of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. There is no need for any needy person to convey his problem to the Chief Minister, as soon as he gets the information, he himself takes cognizance and takes immediate action. Ragini and her family have expressed gratitude for this initiative of the Chief Minister.
