Raipur, 10 April (HS). A motorcycle rally was organized this afternoon in Raipur district on Wednesday to make voters aware about the Lok Sabha elections. Which was flagged off by Chhattisgarh Chief Electoral Officer Reena Baba Saheb Kangale. Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Singh, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Nilesh Kshirsagar SSP Santosh Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, District Panchayat CEO Vishwadeep participated in it. Along with this, Sweep Express was also taken out, which was inaugurated by Kangale by cutting the ribbon.
He said that the appeal being made by the Raipur district administration to the voters through the motorcycle rally to vote as much as possible is commendable. The Collector said on this occasion that the purpose of organizing such a rally at this time is to motivate maximum voting. 7th May is the day of Raipur Lok Sabha polling. The motorcycle rally passed from the Collectorate complex via Akashvani Chowk and ended at White House, Shyam Talkies, Lily Chowk, Purani Basti Vivekananda Ashram, NIT Campus, Nalanda Complex. The rally was led by Reena Baba Saheb Kangale and Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Singh. Kangale herself, wearing a helmet, was riding on an e-scooter I Cube, which had a placard saying 'Election Parv, Desh Ka Parv' attached to it. Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh was riding on the Bullet wearing a helmet and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra was sitting behind him. After the end, a small program was organized in Nalanda campus, in which Zumba based on voter awareness was presented by AIG Sanjay Sharma and his team. Tejram Sahu also presented a folk dance and appealed to the voters to cast their votes. On this occasion the pauper took the oath to vote. On this occasion, books based on the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda were presented to the artists of Zumba and Lok Kalapathak Dal.

Not only this, stickers of Vote for Better India, Election Day, Desh Ka Parv were stuck on the helmets of other bike riders including the Collector.
