Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has officially announced the upcoming ODI tri-series, in which along with Afghanistan, the teams of Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will also face each other. All the matches of this trilateral series will be played on the grounds of United Arab Emirates (UAE), which being a neutral venue, will provide a level playing field for all the teams. This exciting caravan of the series will start from 17th October and continue till 23rd October. During this, all three teams will showcase their strategies and skills and compete vigorously to capture the Tri-Series trophy.

According to the official schedule released by the Afghanistan Cricket Board, this trilateral series will start on October 17, where the teams of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will face each other in the opening match. After this, the second exciting match of the series will be played on October 19, in which Zimbabwe will face host Afghanistan. The third league match of the series will be played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan on October 21, which will decide which two teams will reach the final. Finally, the biggest and decisive final match of this tri-series will be played on October 23, in which the top two teams will clash for the title. This entire schedule has been prepared in a very balanced manner to test the fitness and playing level of the players.

This ODI tri-series is not just an ordinary tournament, but it is a strong basis for preparation for many big bilateral series to be held in the future. Just before the start of the tri-series, Bangladesh and Afghanistan teams will play against each other in the same historic Test match from October 9 to 13, which will be a big opportunity for both the teams to prove themselves in red-ball cricket. Apart from this, immediately after the end of the tri-series, a long series of three T20 International matches and two Test matches will also be played between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan in the UAE.
