UPSSSC Computer Operator Recruitment 2026: Government jobs for computer operator posts in UP! Salary will be up to ₹81,100; Application process starts, know eligibility and last date here

For the youth looking for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow has officially started the new recruitment in technical cadre. The Commission has invited online applications for the Main Examination for the posts of Computer Operator Grade-A and Assistant Computer Operator in the Advocate General Office (High Court Allahabad) under Advertisement No. 20-Exam/2026.

Under this recruitment, the process of online registration and fee payment has started on the official portal. Candidates selected under Pay Matrix Level-4 of 7th Pay Commission will get a salary ranging from ₹ 25,500 to a maximum of Rs. ₹81,100 per month Pay scale of Rs. 10,000 and all state government allowances (DA, HRA etc.) will be provided.

Candidates must submit their online form and prescribed fee within the stipulated time limit:

• Application Start Date: 07 September 2026

• Last date for online application and fee submission: 28 September 2026

• Last date for amendment in application form and fee adjustment: 05 October 2026

• Application and Processing Fee: Online processing fee only for all categories including General (UR), OBC (OBC), EWS (EWS), SC (SC), ST (ST) and Disabled (PH) ₹25 were determined. After shortlisting of the main examination, the selected candidates will have to pay a separate examination fee.

According to the notification issued by the Commission, the division of posts and pay scale have been decided as follows:

• Computer Operator Grade-A (11 Posts): Pay Matrix Level-4 (Pay Scale ₹25,500 to ₹81,100). After adding dearness allowance and house rent allowance to the basic salary, the starting gross salary starts from around ₹40,000 and reaches a maximum bracket of ₹81,100+.

• Assistant Computer Operator (01 Post): Pay Matrix Level-2 (Pay Scale ₹19,900 to ₹63,200).

To participate in this recruitment, it is mandatory for the candidates to fulfill the following minimum educational and technical qualifications:

• UPSSSC PET Scorecard Mandatory: Only those candidates are eligible to apply who have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) and have valid valid scorecard. Candidates getting zero or negative marks will not be eligible.

• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Computer Diploma/Certificate: ‘O’ level certificate recognized by DOEACC/NIELIT or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized institute.

• Experience: For the post of Computer Operator Grade-A, minimum 3 years of work experience in computer application is required and for Assistant Operator, minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.

• Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum age should be 40 years. Reserved categories (OBC, SC, ST) of Uttar Pradesh will be provided relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the state government.

Candidates will be selected based on two stages of assessment:

1. Shortlisting based on PET Score: From the valid applications received online, candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination against the advertised posts.

2. Main Written Exam: Written examination based on subject wise technical knowledge, general knowledge and computer proficiency will be conducted for shortlisted candidates.

3. Document Verification: Final appointment letters will be issued after verifying the certificates of the candidates who have made it to the merit list of the written examination.
