Arvind Kejriwal News: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received a major setback from the Delhi High Court on a petition challenging ED's arrest in the alleged liquor policy case. Delhi High Court rejected the petition of AAP convenor, after which Kejriwal has now approached the Supreme Court.
A day earlier on Tuesday, Delhi High Court, while hearing Kejriwal's petition, had justified the arrest of the investigating agency ED. After which he has challenged the decision of the High Court in the Supreme Court.
Apart from this, Arvind Kejriwal has also suffered a setback in another matter. Delhi Court has rejected his petition to extend the legal session. The Delhi Chief Minister filed a petition in the Rouse Avenue court seeking to increase its legal meetings from twice a week to five times a week.
On which Special Judge Kaveri Baweja has reserved her decision on April 5 and rejected the application. The magistrate court's move came after the ED opposed the AAP chief's plea, saying he had misused his legal seats.
