A fierce orgy of nature is being witnessed in Nepal where the sudden flood has caused huge devastation in the areas adjacent to the Tibetan border. After this disaster, the administration in the border districts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar has become fully prepared. Seeing the impact of this devastating flood in Nepal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict instructions for sensitive areas of the state.
CM Yogi expressed grief, alert in Maharajganj and Kushinagar
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep concern over the devastation caused by the spate and floods in the Bhotekoshi river in Nepal’s Rasuwa region. Sharing his condolences on social media platform X, he wrote that he prayed to Lord Pashupatinath for everyone’s well being.
Along with this, CM Yogi has directed the local administration to remain on high alert in view of the rising water level of Gandak and Narayani rivers in Maharajganj and Kushinagar districts of Uttar Pradesh. The administration has been asked to immediately ensure all necessary preparations to deal with the threat of possible floods.
Flood causes massive devastation in Tibet region, more than 100 Indians missing
In many parts of Nepal, the surge of water has reached villages and towns, due to which roads and bridges have been destroyed. Vehicles have been seen being washed away in the strong current, and considering the seriousness of the situation, the Nepal government has requested for official help from India and China.
Nepali Army has already issued a warning in the districts situated on the banks of the river. Meanwhile, according to another worrying information, more than 100 Indian tourists are feared missing due to this disaster, for whose search relief and rescue operations have been intensified.
Chief Secretary called high level meeting in many districts of Bihar also
The impact of this terrible flood in Nepal is not limited to Uttar Pradesh only, but a high alert has been issued in the neighboring state of Bihar also. Sensing the urgency of the situation, the Chief Secretary of Bihar has called a high level meeting.
In the meeting, instructions have been given to exercise special vigilance in all the affected areas of rivers bordering Nepal including Bettiah, Motihari, Gopalganj, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Sitamarhi and Shivhar. Local administration and disaster management teams have been asked to be fully prepared to deal with any emergency.
