‘Locked in jail and electrocuted’, before leaving for Madhubani, Tejashwi Yadav made big claim in Roshan Yadav death case

These days, the political temperature in Bihar politics is at its peak regarding law and order and cases of deaths in police custody. Leader of Opposition and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav once again looked aggressive just before leaving for Madhubani from Patna. He made a sensational claim in the case of suspicious death of Roshan Yadav, saying that the deceased was illegally confined in the police station, tortured inhumanely and was even electrocuted. After this sharp statement by Tejashwi, there has once again been an uproar in the administrative and political corridors of the state, because the opposition is continuously accusing the government of establishing police rule.

Tejashwi’s big attack on Roshan Yadav death case

While talking to the media before leaving for Madhubani, Tejashwi Yadav expressed deep condolences to the victim’s family and criticized the present government of the state. He said in clear words that the way criminal incidents and deaths in police custody are happening continuously in Bihar is extremely worrying. Tejashwi alleged that the police exercised their dictatorship by ignoring the rules and tortured the youth to such an extent that he lost his life. He said that he himself is going to meet the victim’s family and will fight for justice in every possible way so that the culprits are not spared.

Allegations of the victim’s family and theory of police administration

In this entire matter, there is a world of difference between the statements of the police administration and the victim’s family. The family members allege that the police had picked up the youth without any solid reason and he was beaten badly inside the police station. According to family claims, his condition deteriorated due to torture during detention. On the other hand, the police and jail administration claim that the youth died due to suicide. After this contradiction came to light, the process of leaders and public representatives of various political parties reaching Madhubani to meet the family members is continuing.

Activism of political parties and Jansuraj’s stance

The case of Roshan Yadav’s death has shocked not only RJD but also other political parties and organizations. Recently founder of Jansuraj Prashant Kishore Had also met the victim’s family and given a stern warning to the administration and demanded a fair investigation. Opposition parties clearly say that if strict legal action is not taken against the police officers and personnel involved in this matter, then a large scale agitation will be carried out. Amidst the ever-increasing political pressure, everyone’s eyes are now fixed on the final conclusion of the post-mortem report and administrative investigation.
