TikToker trapped in a phone call and death trap
According to the official complaint given to the police, shortly before the incident, Ayesha Gilmana had received a call from a person named Kashif alias ‘Kashi’. He asked Ayesha to come out of the house immediately. After this Ayesha came out of the car with her 15-year-old sister Asima and brother Nemtullah. As soon as the car reached a petrol pump in Takshashila, two unidentified bike-riding shooters aged 30 to 35 years, who were already in ambush, surrounded the car and started firing indiscriminately.
Shot in the neck, car went out of control and collided
According to eyewitnesses and family members, the attackers opened fire aiming directly towards the driving seat. One bullet went straight through Ayesha’s neck. As soon as the bullet hit, Ayesha fell bleeding and the car lost its balance completely. The uncontrolled car collided with another vehicle on the road, due to which his younger sister Asima, who was sitting in the car, was seriously injured. After committing the crime, both the shooters quickly fled on their motorcycle. With the help of local people, both the sisters were immediately taken to THQ Hospital in Takshashila, where doctors declared Ayesha dead, while her sister is fighting for her life.
The journey of lakhs of followers and crores of likes
Ayesha Gilmana (Shamsu Bibi) was active on TikTok for the last three to four years and had become quite popular among the youth through her dance, lip-sync and lifestyle videos. His brother Rahmatullah told that he had more than 13 lakh followers and more than 3.5 crore (35 million) likes on his TikTok account. However, due to this tragic incident and security reasons, the family has deactivated his official account after his death.
Money transactions and were already receiving death threats.
Ayesha’s father Fazal Sahibzada has made sensational revelations in the police FIR. The family alleges that Ayesha was having major financial transactions with two persons named Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen. When Ayesha asked them to return her outstanding amount, both of them started issuing direct threats to kill her instead of returning the money. Ayesha had earlier lodged a written complaint in this regard with the Islamabad Police, but no concrete security steps were taken in time. The father clearly says that these people have got his daughter murdered by hiring a shooter with the intention of grabbing money.
Police is scanning CCTV footage, case registered under several sections
Based on the complaint of the victim’s father, the police have registered a case against the named accused and unknown bike-riding attackers under sections of murder (section 302), murderous assault (section 324), criminal conspiracy (section 109) and common intention (section 34). A thorough forensic investigation of the footage of CCTV cameras installed at the incident site and surrounding roads is being done. Police say that in the footage two suspects are seen running away on a bike and the shooters and conspirators will be arrested very soon. This sensational incident, which took place in broad daylight, has once again proved that behind the glitter of social media, sometimes dreadful rivalries and dangers are hidden.
