During the program organized at Police Lines in Prayagraj on the occasion of Independence Day, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya made a scathing attack on Congress and Samajwadi Party. He said that the people of the country have seen the results of the wrong policies of the Congress for a long time and now under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is moving rapidly in the new direction of development, self-reliance and modernity. Shri Maurya said that due to the wrong policies of Congress, India could not develop as per its potential after independence. The public has understood who is with development and modernity and who opposes every positive change. After independence, India had enough opportunities and resources for development.but due to the policies of the then governments the country could not progress according to its real potential.
He said that India, If we look at the journey of development of China and Japan, it becomes clear that India also had immense potential to move forward. But such policies continued in the country for a long time, In which power was given priority over national interest and development.
