According to the latest report of the Meteorological Department, the 18 major districts which are seeing special favor and warning of monsoon include Patna, Nalanda, Gaya, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Lakhisarai and Jehanabad along with many other northern and southern parts. Due to the cloud system forming in these areas for the last few hours, there is a possibility of sudden heavy monsoon showers in the afternoon or evening. This rain has brought relief to the farmers in terms of some crops, but the problem of waterlogging in urban areas can raise its head again.
