A historic step has been taken in the direction of industrially and economically empowering Uttar Pradesh with the ‘New Noida’ (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region) project. The process of land acquisition for the first phase of this ambitious project has been officially started. Under this, a total of 37 villages of two major districts have been included, which include 24 villages of Bulandshahr district and 13 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The main objective of this project is to establish a world-class industrial, residential and logistics hub in the National Capital Region (NCR), which will create millions of new employment opportunities and rapidly develop the infrastructure of the entire region.
Survey work on ground: Investigation is being done through Khasra-Khatauni and satellite images.
To make the land acquisition process transparent and easy, administrative teams have started the work of survey and physical verification at the ground level. During this survey, complete data related to the current condition of the fields, ownership rights of farmers, Khasra-Khatauni records and population area is being collected. It is the endeavor of Noida Authority to update all the revenue and land documents in time so that the farmers do not face any kind of paper problem during the purchase and sale of lands and the compensation distribution can be completed without any hindrance.
Compensation formula for farmers: ₹4300 per square meter or option of 7% developed plot
To protect the rights of farmers and local landowners, the authority will acquire land only on the basis of mutual consent. Two main categories have been created for this:

Option 1: Farmers will be compensated at a straight cash rate of ₹4,300 per square metre.

Option 2: A provision has been made to provide compensation at the rate of ₹ 3,800 per square meter along with 7 percent developed plot.
After the final report of the survey is ready, the officials of the authority will hold talks with the concerned villagers and farmers and carry forward the process of registration.
18 October 2024 cut-off date applicable: Direct connectivity will be available from Eastern Peripheral.
To stop illegal construction and fake claims in the project area, the authority has 18 October 2024 The official cut-off date has been fixed. Any new construction done after this date will be considered illegal and no compensation will be given for the same. The help of high-tech satellite imagery is being taken for accurate inspection of the constructions. In addition, construction of new link roads and wide roads to connect each acquired village to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) is also proposed under the scheme.

24 villages of Bulandshahr: Birondi Fauladpur, Birondi Tezpur, Chola, Dimri Adilpur, Gopalpur, Hridaypur, Jokhabad, Kaithra, Kanwara, Kadu, Kishanpur, Luhakar, Moradabad, Naglabrodha, Nawada, Rajarampur, Rajpur Khurd, Sabdalpur, Salempur Kayastha, Sanwali, Shahpur Kalan, Serpur and Sikra.

13 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar: Anandpur, Bairangpur alias Nai Basti, Beel Akbarpur, Chhaysa, Daya Nagar, Girirajpur, Kot, Milak Khandera, Nagla Kamru, Nagla Nyansukh, Nekrampur alias Vishunpur and Phulpur.
