
India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has entered the foreign market with its electric mobility brand VIDA. The company has made a grand entry in Nepal by starting its global operations. Hero MotoCorp has made this big announcement by entering into a distributor partnership with Nepal’s famous Chaudhary Group company CG Motors.
In the initial phase, the company has introduced its popular VX2 EVOOTER range and DIRT.E K3 off-roader specially designed for the youth in the Nepal market. Let us know about the specialty, range and features of these two electric two-wheelers.
1. Features and specifications of the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER range
Keeping in mind the daily commuting needs in Nepal, the company has launched two great variants under the VX2 EVOOTER series:
A. VIDA VX2 Plus:

Battery and Range: It has a powerful battery setup of 4.4 kWh, which includes two ‘removable batteries’ of 2.2 kWh each. The company claims that when fully charged it 140 kilometers Can travel upto.

Speed: Its top speed is 90 kmph and it accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. Apart from this, it is also given gradeability of 18 degrees.

Fast Charging: With DC Fast Charging support, it takes about 65 minutes to charge from 0 to 80%.
B.VIDA VX2 Go:

Battery and Range: This affordable variant has a single removable battery of 2.2 kWh, which is capable of giving a range of 75 kilometers in real conditions.

Speed: Its maximum speed is 70 km/h and it takes 4.2 seconds to accelerate from 0–40 km/h.

Charging and Smart Features: It can also be charged up to 80% in 65 minutes with a DC fast charger.
You can easily charge the removable battery of both the variants using a normal 5A socket at home. Apart from this, smart features like My VIDA app support, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, call/SMS alerts and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates are available.
2. VIDA DIRT.E K3: The first choice of youth
Keeping in mind the young riders and off-roading enthusiasts, the company has launched VIDA DIRT.E K3 in Nepal. Its main features are as follows:

Motor and Battery: It has a powerful motor of 350W and removable battery of 360Wh.

Riding Mode: It comes with three different speed modes, through which one can easily travel for about three hours depending on the route.

Charging and Smart Control: It gets charged from 20% to 80% in about two hours. It also has a great feature of 3-size adaptive system and ‘App Connected Parental Control’ for the safety of children.
