  3. Terrible devastation: The explosion was so powerful that the entire building of the check post collapsed and many soldiers and policemen present there got buried under the debris, causing huge loss of life.

Immediately after the attack, the entire Tank district and surrounding areas have been sealed by the Pakistani Army and paramilitary forces and a massive search operation (‘Sanitization Operation’) is being conducted against the remaining terrorists in the area.
