3. Terrible devastation: The explosion was so powerful that the entire building of the check post collapsed and many soldiers and policemen present there got buried under the debris, causing huge loss of life.

Banned militant organization is responsible for this deadly attack Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP/Pakistani Taliban) Has taken. TTP issued a statement claiming that its 4 suicide attackers carried out this entire operation.

Immediately after the attack, the entire Tank district and surrounding areas have been sealed by the Pakistani Army and paramilitary forces and a massive search operation (‘Sanitization Operation’) is being conducted against the remaining terrorists in the area.
