Maulana quoted the verses of Geeta – “Yogi yunjita satatam atmanam rahasi sthitah, ekaki yata-cittatma nirshir aparigrahah” — claimed that it instructed devotees to worship with “the whole body” and that Krishna himself offered namaz. He further said that if Hindus read their scriptures carefully, they would come to love Islam. According to him, Islam is a universal religion which was taught not only by Prophet Muhammad but also by Ramchandra ji and Krishna ji.
Sanatan experts called the claim completely wrong and misleading
Experts on religious matters and Sanskrit experts have completely rejected this claim of Maulana and termed it extremely misleading. According to experts, Maulana has completely misinterpreted and fabricated the meaning of the Geeta verse.
In fact, Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, Verse 10 The real meaning of this is that a Yogi should remain in a secluded place, renouncing worldly desires and the tendency to accumulate (Aparigraha), and controlling his mind and senses and constantly remaining absorbed in meditation on the Supreme Lord.
