Skin Care Tips: Does rash appear on face after applying face mask? To save facial glow, immediately adopt these 4 measures

To get glowing and spotless skin, women often use scrubs, face packs or different types of face masks. But many times it happens that immediately after applying the face pack, small pimples, pimples or rashes appear on the face. Instead of improving the face, the entire look gets spoiled, and one also has to face the problem of itching and burning sensation. If this happens to you too, there is no need to panic. With the help of some very easy and effective home remedies and precautions, you can make your skin clean and healthy again.

After all, why does a rash appear after applying a face mask?

Mainly two reasons are responsible for the appearance of pimples on the face:

  • Chemicals and Allergies: Many face packs contain strong chemicals, artificial fragrances, or natural ingredients like lemon and honey, which do not suit everyone’s skin.

  • Clogged Pores: Many heavy or oil-based face masks available in the market clog the pores of the skin. Due to this, the natural oil (sebum) and dirt of the skin are not able to come out and they take the form of pimples.

Adopt these methods to avoid rashes and irritation

Patch test is most important

Before applying any new face mask or beauty product on the face, do a patch test. For this, apply the mask behind your ears or on the skin of your hands and leave it for 24 hours. If there is no itching, redness or burning sensation during this period, then apply it on the face only.

Choose the right mask according to skin type

Always choose the product after understanding the texture of your skin. If your skin is oily, then you should use face packs containing charcoal, clay or multani mitti. Whereas, if your skin is dry, then hydrating and creamy face masks will be best for you.

Know the right time to apply face pack

Often women think that applying face pack for a longer time will bring more glow, but this is absolutely wrong. Any face mask should be applied on the face only for 15 to 20 minutes. If kept longer than this, the natural moisture of the skin gets snatched away and the skin becomes dry and becomes a victim of pimples.

Don’t forget to apply moisturizer

After washing the face pack, the pores of the skin open and the skin feels a little dry. In such a situation, immediately after removing the face mask, apply a lightweight, non-comedogenic (which does not clog pores) moisturizer or aloe vera gel on the face. This will keep the skin hydrated and pimples will not appear.
