Sharp questions raised on government’s stance and comparison with Anna Hazare movement
The agitators have termed the government’s attitude as unfortunate and have appealed not to make it a battle of ego. This entire incident is also being compared with the historic fast of Anna Hazare in 2011, which had created a stir in the political circles. CJP has urged the Central Government to come forward to protect the rights of environmentalists and students who have brought glory to the country like Sonam Wangchuk and initiate talks without any delay.
