According to YIDA, the very ambitious project connecting Yamuna Expressway and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Link Expressway The work of purchasing land is progressing at superfast speed.
A total of 740 acres of land in 16 villages falling within the notified area of the authority has been identified for this project, out of which approximately 60 percent land The purchase has been done with the mutual consent of the farmers (Direct Purchase). At the same time, the legal process of acquiring the remaining land has also reached its final stages.
Grand interchange will make travel of air passengers easier
A very modern and grand interchange will be constructed to seamlessly connect the two major expressways. For this, YIDA has greatly accelerated the process of purchasing land in Bhaipur, Brahmananpur and Mehndipur Bangar villages.
This new interchange will prove to be the third most important connectivity point between Jewar Airport and Yamuna Expressway. For the construction of this interchange and link road, the government Huge budget of Rs 1209 crore Has been allotted. The main objective of the authority is that the construction work of both the link expressway and the interchange can be started simultaneously so that there is no delay in the project.

This new link expressway is being considered as a game-changer for the development of Western Uttar Pradesh. Its main features are as follows:

Width frame: The width of the main expressway has been fixed at 80 meters, on both sides of which wide service roads will be built for local traffic. Including the service road, its total width will be up to 130 meters.

Once this route is fully operational, many major districts of Western UP including Aligarh, Mathura, Agra and Meerut will be directly connected to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Jewar Airport.
‘Land Bank’ is expanding under Master Plan 2041
The vision of Yamuna Authority is not limited to the connectivity of this link expressway only. Keeping in mind future industrial and residential plans master plan 2041 Work on (Master Plan 2041) is also going on at a fast pace.
