In the year 2023, Kashish hoisted the flag of beauty by winning the title of ‘Miss International India’. Modeling was definitely her passion, but it was not her long-term career. According to Kashish, joining the National Cadet Corps (NCC) was the biggest turning point in his life, which changed the direction of his dreams.
Rejected Harvard’s offer and got All India Rank 2 in CDS exam
Kashish Methwani is not only beautiful in appearance but also has no equal in education. Born on 9 January 2001 in a Sindhi family of Ulhasnagar, Kashish has done a master’s degree in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. After this he completed his thesis in Neuroscience from the country’s prestigious institute IISc Bangalore. His talent can be gauged from the fact that he got an offer to do PhD from the world’s top Harvard University, which he rejected to serve the country.
Leaving behind glamor and big academic offers, he decided to appear for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) exam in 2024. Due to his hard work, he surprised everyone by securing second rank (AIR 2) in the entire country in this difficult examination.
Trophy received from PM Modi in Republic Day Parade changed life
In an interview, Kashish said that marching in the Republic Day Parade and receiving the ‘Best Cadet’ trophy from Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the proudest moment of his life. This moment gave him a new purpose and made it clear that his real place was the Indian Army.
After this he completed 11 months of extremely rigorous military training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) located in Chennai. After a spectacular passing out parade on 6th September, she was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. He has got posting in the very important ‘Army Air Defense Regiment’ of the army, which plays an important role in the security of the country.

Service to the country and discipline have been in Lieutenant Kashish’s veins since childhood. His father Dr. Gurmukh Das has been a scientist and mother is a teacher in Army Public School. Kashish is not only expert in studies or modeling but also in Bharatnatyam, debate, basketball and national level pistol shooting.
Along with this, while fulfilling his responsibility towards the society, he also started an NGO named ‘Dedication Critical Cause’, which makes people aware about blood, plasma and organ donation.
