Show cause notice issued to 23 teachers of Gumla during inspection, order to reply within three days

Ranchi, 8 April (HS). For the ground implementation of Prayas cum Project Impact (NEP), surprise inspection of government schools is being conducted in various districts by the state level monitoring team formed under the instructions of State Education Project Director Aditya Ranjan. A three-member team formed under the leadership of 24 officials has recommended departmental action against negligent schools, teachers and HMs.

On Monday, the team conducted surprise inspection in many government schools of the state and reviewed the educational environment in the schools, presence of teachers and children, school infrastructure, labs, houses etc. and sent its report to the State Education Project. The monitoring team found teachers and principals in many schools guilty of negligence and disobeying the orders of the State Education Project Council.

The team has issued show cause notice to 23 teachers of Gumla for not registering regular biometric attendance in the e-VidyaVahini portal. These teachers have been instructed to reply within three days. Also, in case a satisfactory reply is not received, it has been recommended to take departmental action against them. The teachers who have been given condolence include Shashi Tirkey, Kiran Prasad, Pintu Bara, Ashok Sahu, Priyanka Kumari, Mohammad Aslam, Sangeen Minz, Ujjwala Minz, Shweta Pandey, Zakir Hussain, Puneet Minz, Philsita Toppo, Sudha Lakra, Anupama Kerketta, The names of Shanta Jojwar, Rashmi Tigga, Bridget Kujur, Abhishek Lakra, Mahadev Sahu, Munmun Lakra, Hemant Mahato, Nancy Priya and Lena Kujur are included.

Salary of teachers and HM of one school each in Gumla and Palamu will be stopped

The monitoring team that went to inspect Gumla and Garhwa has found one school each in these districts guilty in the matter of lab not being functional and low attendance. Taking action against the teachers and headmaster of Kurkura Governmentized Plus Two High School in Kamdara, Gumla and Governmentized Plus Two High School in Patan, Palamu, orders have been given to stop the salaries of teachers and HMs of these two schools.

The team expressed displeasure over the attendance of RK Plus Two High School

Officials of the monitoring team have sent a report to the State Education Project Director expressing displeasure over the low attendance of children in RK Plus Two High School located in Ramna, Garhwa. The team found that the attendance of children in prayer meetings was very low in proportion to the total children in the school. The team has sought clarification from the school in this matter.

Surprise inspection of government schools in all the districts of the state by the state level monitoring team will continue. The officials of the monitoring team sent for inspection in various districts will prepare a detailed report of the inspected schools and submit it to the State Education Project Director and the Deputy Commissioner of the district. Action will also be taken by the State Education Project Council against government schools found negligent or disobeying orders during inspection.
