By 2047, SP and Congress will not be fit to contest elections, Keshav Prasad Maurya

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, while making a scathing attack on the opposition, has said that due to the negative and anti-development politics of Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, the people of the country and the state have completely rejected them. He claimed that considering the speed with which the country is moving towards becoming a ‘developed India’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, by the year 2047, SP and Congress will not even be able to contest elections.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the opposition neither has any policy nor any clear vision for the development of the country. Congress and SP have only indulged in politics of appeasement and corruption for decades, while the BJP government with the basic mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is dedicated to the upliftment of every section of the society, especially the poor, farmers and youth.

Keshav Prasad Maurya stressed that today the benefits of the welfare schemes of the double engine government are reaching the public directly without any discrimination. Uttar Pradesh has set new records on the front of rural development, strength of infrastructure and law and order. The public is now with development and nationalism, due to which the opposition is making unrestrained statements out of frustration. In the coming times, the public will make these family based and casteist forces completely politically irrelevant.
